Is
there a minimum food amount to place an order?
: Yes.
All minimums apply to San Diego Central. Outlying
areas are higher. Breakfast and Lunch* Catering and
delivery minimum is $50. (*Lunch
minimum is only until 12:15.) All deliveries after
12:15 have a $15 food minimum.)

What is the delivery fee?
: All Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner catering
prices include all non-food fees in the prices, like
all caterers. Restaurant delivery fees vary by area.
$6.99 - 8.99 depending on the distance from the restaurant
to your destination.

Can
I order from two different restaurants?
:
Yes, however there
will be an additional delivery fee and a $15 food
minimum* per restaurant.
NOTE: There is a
$50 food minimum for Breakfast and Lunch Catering
until 12:30 pm.

What
are my payment options?
: We
gladly accept:

If you are using a credit card, the card will be swiped
upon delivery. If the card and a matching ID are not
available, the food will not be delivered. Due to
the increased identity theft, please understand and

availability or due to the fact that they do not travel

Which
restaurants can I order from?
:
Restaurants are available according to your delivery
or zip code. Larger catering orders can be delivered
outside the normal delivery zone with a food minimum
of $75- 100, depending on the area. Enter 00000 in the zip code field to view
all restaurants available for large catering orders.

Can
I pay extra for a restaurant that does not normally
deliver to my area?
:
Yes and
No .
Catering
Orders
do not have restrictions, except for minimums
mentioned above. Regular delivery orders have parameters
that have
been established to ensure the quality of your meal. Occasionally, after a given
minimum is met, we can go outside of a zone. This
is the decision of the dispatcher on duty.

How
much should I tip my driver?
:
A 10-15% gratuity is customary. Unless
specified, a 12% gratuity is included on all orders
over $75, as well as corporate orders. 15% gratuity
is added to all hotel orders.

How
long does it normally take for delivery?
:
Most food is delivered within 60 minutes.
Times do fluctuate based on traffic, weather, and
restaurant preparation times. Catering orders are
best placed a day in advance, particularly for
luncheons. Please place
your luncheon orders as early as possible since 11:30 am - 12:30
pm time slots fill up quickly.

Once
my order has been placed can I cancel it?
:
Once a restaurant
delivery order has
been placed, it can not be canceled. Catering
orders require a 24-hour cancellation notice.

When
is the best time to call in my catering orders for
lunch time
deliveries?
:
The
best time to call is before 4:00 pm the day prior
to your
Catering
Order.
We process our catering orders in advance in order
to give the restaurant the best opportunity to prepare
your order. However,
Expressly Gourmet will do everything possible to fulfill
your last minute deliveries.

What
if I have a large catering order that needs to be delivered
that day?
:
We will gladly do everything
possible to help you serve your group. We recommend
calling in your order a day ahead, especially if you
would like the food delivered between 11:30 AM and
12:30 pm. As long as you are flexible with your restaurant
choice, we should be able to accommodate practically
any Catering

day of the delivery.

Can
I arrange a delivery for weekend days or holidays when
you are normally closed?
:
Yes. If you need to set up a weekend
day event please place your order by 2:00 pm Friday at the
latest. We will also be happy to deliver on a holiday
with at least one week notice. A $75 food minimum
is required.

What
are your hours?
:
Our
Hours of
Operation are
Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 8:30 pm and
4:00 pm to 8:30 pm Saturday and Sunday. We are also
closed on most major holidays. Breakfast and weekend
lunch time deliveries are available with one day advance
notice. We encourage you to place large orders with
as much advance notice as possible.

What
about drinks?
:
We offer all Coke and Pepsi products by the can or
2-Liter as well as bottled spring water for catering
orders. Restaurant delivery customers are welcome to
order drinks from the restaurant from which they are
are ordering.
